We are looking for a Service Project Management Leader to lead a portfolio of service projects and provide strong operational, commercial and customer leadership across our Service Project activities. Reporting to the Service Director, this role is critical in ensuring excellent customer experience, strong financial performance, effective risk management, and high standards of project execution.
This is a leadership position requiring a commercially astute and customer-focused professional with proven experience in project management, team leadership, and service delivery. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting project managers, developing talent, driving compliance and governance, and ensuring strong collaboration across teams and regions throughout the project lifecycle.
Reporting to the Service Director, the Service Project Management Leader will perform the following duties:
- Lead portfolio performance across multiple Service projects, ensuring safe, high-quality, and on-time execution.
- Champion a positive customer experience through responsiveness, quality, and reliable delivery of project milestones and deliverables.
- Build and maintain strong, trusted customer and partner relationships, creating clear and effective escalation routes and ensuring customers feel well supported at every stage.
- Drive strong financial performance across Service Projects, including revenue, margin, cash collection, invoicing, and debt management, while ensuring billing and trading plans are maintained and recovery actions are implemented where required.
- Promote compliance with GE Vernova processes, policies, and governance standards, including active participation in the project review process.
- Identify, assess, and manage areas of project risk, while coaching and supporting project managers in effective risk mitigation and issue resolution.
- Support the transition of ownership to the “country of destination” during the I&C phase, ensuring close collaboration and shared accountability between the “country of owner” and “country of destination” project managers across the project lifecycle.
- Provide leadership and support in claims and counterclaims management with both project teams and customers.
- Ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality internal reporting to executive management.
- Foster an inclusive, high-performing team environment that attracts, develops, and retains qualified talent.
- Ensure all team members are trained and compliant in required processes, tools, and methods, in alignment with PMO standards and best practices.
- Lead by example in promoting GE Vernova’s values, with uncompromising standards in safety, quality, integrity, compliance, and operational excellence.
- Encourage a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability across teams and functions.

Qualifications for the Role
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline from an accredited university or college, or equivalent knowledge and experience.
- Proven experience in customer and supplier relationship management, with strong examples of building and sustaining effective partnerships.
- Demonstrated success in leading teams within a commercial environment.
- Strong track record of managing large and complex projects, including significant commercial issues, claims, and counterclaims.
- Ability to review, challenge, and improve project performance from a financial perspective, including conducting robust financial reviews.
- Working knowledge of project planning principles and associated planning tools.
