Join our team as a Quality Assurance Engineer, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our Transformer supply process, from initial inquiry through to the completion of erection and commissioning. This role involves providing comprehensive quality assurance support, utilising advanced methodologies and tools to support stakeholders and enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Satisfaction: Enhance customer satisfaction by providing proactive support to address customer complaints and issues, collaborating with Fulfilment, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sourcing teams to resolve problems efficiently.
  • Quality Planning: Review Requests for Quotation (RFQs) for quality-related aspects, preparing and issuing project-specific Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
  • Risk Analysis: Contribute to risk analysis from Inquiry to Order (ITO) and Order to Remittance (OTR) stages, leveraging insights from previous projects to mitigate potential risks.
  • Engineering Support: Assist Engineering teams with Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) to identify potential design risks and implement preventive measures.
  • Manufacturing Support: Provide Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA). Support to Manufacturing Engineering to ensure robust manufacturing processes.
  • Measurement Device Qualification: Aid manufacturing teams in qualifying measurement devices by supporting Repeatability & Reproducibility (R&R) studies and process capability (Cpk) assessments.
  • Governance and Reviews: Govern Design and Manufacturing Gate reviews to ensure compliance with quality standards and project requirements.
  • Non-Conformance Management: Review and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), ensuring effective resolution and preventive actions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Coach teams on the 8D problem-solving methodology to foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in driving customer satisfaction through effective quality assurance practices.
  • Expertise in Quality Assurance methodologies and tools; Six Sigma certification is highly desirable.
  • Internal auditor qualification is preferred.
  • Advanced understanding of quality prevention methodologies, including DFMEA, PFMEA, R&R studies, and Cpk assessments.
