The Contract Manager will provide broad-based and thorough commercial contract management lead to the Wind Offshore Project Team on the execution of large scale offshore wind farm construction projects, * Manages the Contractual and commercial relationship with GE’s clients and serve as the singular point of contact for matters concerning clients contracts.

Is responsible to facilitate contract awareness means to the project team ( contract familiarisation sessions, contracts’ summaries, contracts extracts, live sessions, ad-hoc contract interpretation etc.,).

Proposes and implement the contract management strategy on Claims, Variations, Amendments, and any critical contract-related matters that may arise within contracts with clients.

Provides expert advise on solutions to contract-related problems with other parties ( such as subcontractors, suppliers, etc.,).

Provides full claim management (from/to Client, Insurances)

Provides full Amendments management

Provides support on drafting, negotiation, and execution of key subcontracts and agreements.

Actively support the Subcontracts Contract’s Manager on main subcontracts to co-manage with Project Sourcing. Provide support during negotiations of claims, managing contractual changes and resolving disputes.

Actively supports the Variations Contracts Manager

Manages external experts and consultants while keeping accountability for the Project Contact and Commercial management.

Contributes to monthly project reports, summaries, and presentations, as required by the PD/Project.

Leads any due diligence involving liaising with legal, Planning, Finance, insurance, work package managers, etc.., and external consultants and experts on resolution of any contractual/legal/insurance issue.

Provides any other contractual/commercial support agreed with the PD necessary for the project execution.

Actively support Risk and Opps Management within the project.

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, commercial, or legal fields

Experienced in managing large scale construction contracts
Required Characteristics

Comprehensive Contracts and commercial experience in contracts/projects with critical interfaces, complex infrastructure (civil engineering, offshore, oil and gas, construction and/or renewable energy sector)

Strong contractual and commercial acumen

Ability to work effectively in a complex matrix organization. Effective transversally

Manages formal communication with client, key partners and key subcontractors

Risk Management experience on projects execution.
