GE Vernova is looking for an exceptional Offshore SOV Readiness Manager to join our Renewable Wind Project Offshore Services team based in the UK.

The Offshore SOV Readiness Manager will provide strategic oversight and operational management for all warehouse activities supporting our offshore windfarm fleet. You will act as the vital link between our onshore logistics and offshore vessel operations, designing the infrastructure and supply chain strategy that ensures our teams have exactly what they need, exactly when they need it. By meticulously managing spare parts, tools, and materials, you will directly influence our ability to maximize vessel uptime and operational readiness, all while fostering a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and high performance.

How You Will Make a Difference

  • Designing warehouse infrastructure and implementing robust Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to govern the entire offshore material lifecycle.
  • Managing inventory levels proactively to prevent stockouts and ensure our fleet is always ready for operation.
  • Leading the implementation of 5S methodologies to create a safe, organized, and high-efficiency workspace.
  • Coordinating with planning teams to ensure tools and materials are correctly kitted and staged for seamless delivery to our Service Operation Vessels (SOVs).
  • Enforcing rigorous safety protocols to ensure all processes meet the highest HSE and maritime regulatory standards.
  • Mentoring your warehouse team, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and operational excellence.

Skills for Success

  • Significant experience in warehouse management, particularly within renewable energy, maritime, or offshore sectors.
  • The ability to translate complex operational requirements into clear, actionable processes.
  • The capability to utilize data-driven planning and inventory management systems to optimize supply chain performance.
  • An expertise in building and leading high-performing teams from the ground up.
  • An understanding of safety and compliance standards within a fast-paced industrial or maritime environment.
  • A formal education and subsequent University Bachelor or Master’s degree in a relevant field or logistics certifications are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.

This is a permanent position based in our Port of Tyne office.
