GE Grid Solutions, a leader in the power transmission sector, is seeking an Air Insulated Switchgear (AIS) Product Sales Specialist to drive growth in the European High Voltage Switchgear (HVS) market. We are committed to a green future and offer a complete range of AIS products, with a special focus on SF6-free solutions. This role will be part of the Europe AIS Sales Specialists Team.

We seek a dynamic, technically skilled, and sales-oriented individual capable of creating, maintaining, and strengthening the link between customers, sales representatives, and factories. Your Mission:

As an AIS Product Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for business development, technical prescription, coordination of tendering activities, product qualification, and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will work closely with the local sales team to develop and manage the right sales strategy within your area of influence. You will lead growth initiatives to achieve quarterly and yearly targets, fully aligned with GE values. You will report to the Europe AIS Product Sales Director.

  • Business Development: Lead AIS business development, technical prescription, coordination of tendering activities, product qualification, and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with the local sales team to build and manage the right sales strategy, driving growth and achieving targets.

Roles And Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute strategies and sales agreements.
  • Develop deal structures, pricing, and proposals.
  • Assist in customer negotiations.
  • Identify new opportunities to develop products and services.
  • Utilize Lean methodologies to improve the proposal process.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of sales territory, product lines, markets, sales processes, and customer groups.
  • Make decisions within a defined framework, with some autonomy in final decisions for projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customers.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and the business about design and coordination services.
  • Provide informal guidance to new team members.
  • Explain complex information in straightforward situations.

Must-Haves:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English and preferably a second language such as French.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems, document, plan, present, market, and execute programmes.
  • Established project management skills.
