Lead and manage a team focused on validation activities for controls and automation products and systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Define comprehensive strategies for manual, automated, and regression testing. Develop and execute validation activities with comprehensive test plans and test specifications. Analyse test results, identify issues, and work closely with development teams to resolve defects. Continuously improve validation methodologies and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Influence design and development of products by supporting design reviews, sharing lessons learned, and fostering innovation within the team. Collaborate with internal stakeholders by providing engineering estimates, risk assessments and planning information for testing activities. Oversee team development, including growth planning, training, performance reviews, and utilization tracking to build a high-performing workforce.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Computer Engineering with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in testing Control & Automation System products (HMI, Controller, Data Historian, Remote monitoring system etc.) focusing on New Product Introduction (NPI).
  • Proven experience in testing of Integrated Automation System solutions.
  • Experience of automated testing tools e.g. JIRA XRAY, Selenium or similar.
  • Experience with cybersecurity frameworks such as IEC 62443 and NIST standards.
  • Experience in Power, Marine, Oil and Gas, Industrial domain.
  • Experience in leading NPI programs, task allocation, and driving teams in a technical leadership role will be a plus.
  • Ability to respond effectively to changing priorities, project requirements, and organizational needs.
