Overview

Join GE Vernova’s Power Conversion & Storage business and contribute to the global push towards energy efficiency and decarbonization. We work with some of the world’s major energy, maritime and industrial organizations providing our specialist motors, drives and control technologies.

Graduate Engineering Training Programme (GETP)

  • Duration: 24 months, featuring four 6-month rotations starting mid-September 2026
  • Accreditation: IET accredited programme
  • Community: Network with fellow graduates and placement students. Benefit from the ‘Buddy’ programme for guidance from current graduates.
  • Development: Access mentorship, professional registration support, and specialized training.
  • Gain Experience: Apply your skills within our electrical engineering teams and gain exposure to business areas like project management and quality.

Candidate Requirements

  • Education: 2:1 degree in electrical/electronic engineering, systems engineering, communications engineering, robotic/mechatronic engineering or related fields.
  • Skills: Passion for problem-solving in engineering and technology.
  • Eligibility: Unrestricted, permanent work authorization for the UK (no visa sponsorship) and ability to achieve Security Cleared clearance level from UK Security Vetting.
  • Deadline: 31st December (Applications reviewed as we receive them and the role may close early)
