Overview

Join GE Vernova’s Power Conversion & Storage business and contribute to the global push towards energy efficiency and decarbonization. We work with energy, maritime and industrial organizations providing our specialist motors, drives and control technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Programme Start: Late June 2026.
  • Network with fellow graduates and placement students through a dedicated community; benefit from the Buddy programme for guidance from current interns.
  • Development opportunities include mentorship, professional registration support, and specialized training.
  • Apply your mechanical engineering skills within one of our engineering teams and gain exposure to business areas such as project management and quality.

Qualifications

  • Education: currently studying at a UK university; have completed a minimum of 2 years of study in mechanical engineering, robotic/mechatronic engineering, design or related fields and be on track to receive a 2:1 degree.
  • Skills: passion for problem-solving in engineering and technology; eager to learn.
  • Eligibility: unrestricted, permanent work authorization for the UK (no visa sponsorship) and ability to achieve Security Cleared clearance level from UK Security Vetting.
