Your Impact
As Deputy Security Controller, you\’ll:
- Support and deputise for the UK Security Controller on all UK Government-related security matters.
- Lead and advise internal teams on personnel, physical, and information security compliance.
- Oversee the secure handling, storage, and auditing of classified documentation, ensuring alignment with the UK Security Policy Framework.
- Manage and process BPSS and NSV security clearances.
- Build strong working relationships with Government agencies, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct internal audits, investigations, and supplier compliance checks.
- Develop and maintain security education and awareness programs.
- Keep policies and processes aligned with changing legislation and government guidance.
What You\\\’ll Bring
- Experience in a professional security role within a high-compliance, government, or defence environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK Government Agency security standards (SPF, JSP, IPSA, etc.).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, self-motivated attitude with sound problem-solving capabilities.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and manage sensitive or confidential matters with discretion.
- Sole British Nationality and eligibility for SC security clearance.
