You will support the evolution of our BIM roadmap, coordinate workload and delivery priorities across the BIM managers/coordinators, portfolio and work closely with project teams, clients and partners to drive BIM excellence across North and South Europe.
We are seeking an experienced BIM Manager Lead with extensive knowledge and application of ISO 19650 standards to drive our BIM strategy and processes. In this role, you will ensure compliance with a range of international client and industry standards, ensure BIM activities are recorded and fulfilled through all project milestones and develop, train and deliver our internal BIM procedures across multiple projects. You will collaborate closely with the Project BIM Managers and Coordinators, supporting project teams and championing best practices in BIM implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the BIM Project Managers and project teams to meet client, business, and industry requirements.
- Perform modelling and model audits (graphical and metadata).
- Develop and deploy Common Data Environments (CDE) for both internal and external contributors based on GEV and user needs.
- Lead design clash resolution meetings.
- Liaise with clients and subcontractors on information exchanges and coordination.
- Take ownership of the Master Information Delivery Plan (MIDP) and Task Team Information Delivery Plans (TIDP).
- Assist in pre-project planning, including drafting or contributing to Tender BIM Execution Plans and demonstrating business capabilities.
Must-Have Requirements:
- Experience contributing to BIM Execution Plans, capturing project requirements, and managing client expectations in a commercially robust manner.
- Proven experience with BIM modelling, clash detection, and Common Data Environment (CDE) management, preferably using Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of Revit for 3D modelling and metadata integration.
- Experience with Navisworks and clash resolution workflows.
- Solid understanding and practical application of BS EN ISO 19650 standards.
- Ability to guide and train project teams on BIM processes, software adoption, and information exchange.
- Proven ability to lead and coordinate BIM managers and coordinators to achieve project deliverables.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, colleagues, and subcontractors.
Nice-to-Have Requirements:
- Familiarity with Solibri, Dynamo, and Autodesk Construction Cloud modules (Docs, Build, Assemble).
- Commitment to continuous improvement, including applying lessons learned and keeping up-to-date with industry best practices.
Please note this role is based in Stafford/Glasgow on a hybrid basis of 3 days on site and 2 days remote.
