The Graduate Contract Administrator will report to the Site Contract Manager and be responsible for supporting bespoke manpower/construction contracts, handling documentation, compliance, and supplier liaison. The aim is to gain knowledge and experience while adding value to the Contract Management team. The Graduate Contract Administrator shall comply with Group confidentiality and information security policies at all times and be aware of health and safety in their area of responsibility, in line with the relevant section(s) of the relevant Health and Safety Policy and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Document control: Tracking, reviewing and control of subcontractor/supplier activities, documentation, reports and certificates; support of Turbine Supply Agreement correspondence.
  • Contractual support: Preparing contracts, amendments/variations/change orders for subcontractor/supplier contracts.
  • Commercial support: Maintaining accurate project records; assisting with invoices or subcontractor/supplier payments; assisting with IR35 and CIS documentation, reports or notices; set-up of cost control reporting/tools.
  • Administrative support: Minute taking, notice preparation and distribution; delay register and tracking of penalties.

Requirements & Development

  • Education: A degree in quantity surveying, contract management, construction management, business, or engineering is beneficial.
  • Experience: Experience in quantity surveying, contract administration is required. In possession of a full UK driver’s license. Must have the right to work in the UK.
