Responsibilities
- Assemble parts according to process sheet/print instructions.
- Perform electrical, mechanical, magnetic testing as required (i.e. โ dielectric, megger, hipot, etc.).
- Perform in-process hi-pot testing; perform basic setup of fixtures.
- Perform vapor blasting as required; perform inventory counts and verification. Assist with proto-type or first time builds with guidance from higher level employees.
- Assist Engineering and/or Team in development and/or improvement of layout procedures and process sheets.
- Review expiration date of materials to ensure materials & equipment are current.
- Proactively work to improve efficiency and quality of products; good housekeeping skills.
- Possess inspection stamp as required; utilize proper PPE, safety equipment, and follow safety procedures.
- Crosstrain other employees as needed based upon knowledge and experience.
- Compliantly complete all written and/or electronic labor tracking documentation.
- Perform basic Oracle transactions as required.
- Report problems to appropriate resource and/or Coach.
- Keep all shift operators informed on special problems involving operation or set up.
- Communicate with team to ensure all team members are aware of new processes and/or issues. May interact with internal cross-functional teams (i.e. planning).
- Perform troubleshooting responsibilities.
- Participate in and support team initiatives.
- Utilize proper PPE, safety equipment, and follow safety procedures per position requirements.
- Understand and abide by the GE Behaviors.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalency.
- 1 year manufacturing experience. Intermediate understanding of blueprint and process sheet interpretation.
- Ability and willingness to use basic hand tools (crimpers, soldering iron, wire strippers, brazing equipment, etc.) and measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, rulers, etc.).
- Ability and willingness to operate high temperature ovens and furnaces.
- Ability and willingness to pass Visual Acuity Exam as necessary.
- Ability and willingness to obtain Solder, Braze, and Electro-Static discharge certification as required, 1-3 years manufacturing experience.
- Assembly, solder experience and/or electronics manufacturing experience.
- Experience in a self-directed teaming environment; Familiarity with 5S & lean manufacturing knowledge.
Physical Demands
- Ability to continuously use hands and fingers in repetition.
- Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, twist, crouch, squat, climb, and/or balance.
- Ability to continuously sit; ability to occasionally lift to 20 lbs.; ability to push/pull up to 22 lbs.

The pay for this position is $23.00/hour. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on 4/30/26.
