We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Lead PCB (Printed Circuit Board) Processing Engineer to join our dedicated team in Cheltenham. This position offers a unique opportunity for a seasoned process engineer to apply their expertise in PCB manufacturing. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements, ensuring the most efficient and lean methods of production. Additionally, you will lead and coordinate complex shop floor issues, contributing to the overall effectiveness and quality of our manufacturing processes. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements across all PCB owned processes.
  • Responsible for coaching junior members of the team within relevant process engineering disciplines.
  • Own and report out on process health improvement projects.
  • Identify industry trends and ensure alignment of manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure that the organisation's manufacturing processes comply with relevant policies and aerospace regulations.
  • Perform risk and mitigation assessments.
  • Identify/evaluate improvement opportunities.
  • Co-ordinate and support the requirements needed from ME.
  • Proactively manage workload.
  • Communicate to internal customers and functional leadership.

Required Qualifications/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or HNC/HND.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • PCB Manufacturing experience (Minimum 5 years).
  • Experience managing projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in Aerospace, Military, Manufacturing, or similar sector.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office-based applications (Excel/PowerPoint).

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience in industrial engineering, working knowledge of VSM, capacity analysis, and time study frameworks.
  • Knowledge of TIP QA, Proficy, Oracle.
  • Six Sigma - Green Belt or higher.
