We're looking for a Lead Manufacturing Assurance Engineer to join our team and take charge of all things engineering when it comes to manufacturing processes. If you love solving problems, driving improvements, and making things run like clockwork, this could be the perfect role for you!
In this position, you'll tackle complex shop floor challenges, using your expertise to find the most effective and lean manufacturing methods. You'll dive into data analysis to shape process improvement strategies, ensure quality and compliance standards are met, and keep procedures on track.

Roles and Responsibilities:- Responsible for reporting cell Yield and associated reviews required to manage Process health level 1 and 2 whilst overseeing successful completion of corrective actions.
- Own ME related quality documents and facilitate generation and updates of these.
- Own ME associated training at a site level (RW6).
- Responsible for driving adherence to Manufacturing engineering associated policies (FAI Procedure, change management control procedure, Manufacturing engineering associated SOPs).
- Evaluate quality control processes and make recommendations for improvements.
- Ensure that the organisation's manufacturing processes comply with relevant policies and aerospace regulations.
- Perform risk and mitigation assessments.
- Identify/evaluate improvement opportunities.
- Co-ordinate and support the requirements needed from ME.
- Proactively manages workload.
- Communicates to internal customers and functional leadership.
- Adopt FLIGHT DECK practices and promote within the team.
This role requires strong interpersonal skills and may involve leading a junior team. You'll also be required to build solid relationships with customers and act as the key point of contact between them and GE. Ability to clearly communicate technical information to others in an understandable way.
Required Qualifications:- This role requires strong experience in the Manufacturing & Production Process and Equipment.
- Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and/or relevant work experience.
- Experience in PCB Manufacturing is essential for this role.
- Knowledge of GE business-related systems (TIP QA, Proficy, Oracle).
- Six Sigma - Green Belt or higher.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
