Essential Responsibilities:-
- Provide dedicated guidance and coaching to leaders and employees with specific focus on: employee and union relations, employee engagement, performance management, career development, talent assessment, acquisition and retention and workplace investigations
- Provide people leaders with an available first point of contact for questions and guidance on fundamental HR topics and issues; escalates concerns as required with HR specialists in the Centres of Excellence ; navigates employees and manager to HR Services when it is the more appropriate resource
- Partner with HR Business Partners and Centre of Excellence professionals to execute business-specific HR strategies.
- Develop positive relationships with Trade Union leadership and work collaboratively to solve problems and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
- Provide advice and counsel to leaders to ensure consistent application of policies, procedures and practices to promote an ethical and compliant work environment
- Ensure that all employee relations issues are properly identified, reported, investigated and resolved
- Lead key HR processes including compensation planning and compliance
- Provide coaching and mentorship to other HR team members to support their growth and development
- Drive continuous improvement by engaging with lean methodologies, FLIGHT DECK at GE Aerospace, to enhance HR processes and practices
- Lead site-wide HR projects, collaborating across multiple client groups to deliver impactful results
Qualifications/Requirements
- Degree from an accredited university or equivalent proven experience
