An exciting opportunity for you to join our Repair Centre team at GE Healthcare; a team that partners with our customers to provide innovative technology enabling faster, more informed medical decisions. You'll work on the maintenance and repair of GE Healthcare Critical Care Products down to component level. You will participate in fault diagnostics of equipment, preparation of quotations, and complete parts orders as necessary. Communication with internal and external customers is also part of your role.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day team activities and their tasks.
- Perform maintenance and repair of GE Healthcare Patient Care Solution and Ultrasound Products down to component level.
- Install, configure, and test desktop and server hardware, peripherals, operating systems, applications, and software upgrades.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
- Manage inventory efficiently.
- Conduct fault diagnostics, prepare quotations, and process parts orders as needed.
- Follow up and ensure traceability of repair and intervention files using the service management system.
- Adhere to EHS rules and procedures within GE Healthcare, participate in EHS activities and programs (trainings, accident reports, etc.) according to the EHS policies.
- Maintain an effective Quality System, comply with ISO 9001 requirements, and promptly escalate any quality or integrity issues.
- Comply with Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) policies and applicable laws, complete mandatory EHS training, participate in incident investigations, maintain workplace safety and cleanliness, and participate in inspections.
Required Experience:
- Graduate degree or HNC in electronic engineering/technical field or equivalent.
- Deep knowledge in electronics, pneumatics, and IT.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Essential IT skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Experience in team leadership.
- Fluency in English.
