Job Description Summary

Join GE Health Care's Repair Centre team and play a key role in supporting innovative healthcare technology that helps clinicians make faster, more informed decisions for patients worldwide.

In this hands-on leadership position, you will lead a team of technicians while actively participating in the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of GE Health Care Patient Care Solutions and Ultrasound systems.

You will serve as a key point of contact for both internal and external customers, ensuring high-quality service delivery and operational excellence.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the daily activities and workload of the technician team.
  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of GE Health Care Patient Care Solutions and Ultrasound equipment down to component level.
  • Diagnose technical faults and identify effective repair solutions.
  • Prepare repair quotations and manage parts ordering as required.
  • Install, configure, and test computer hardware, servers, peripherals, operating systems, and application software.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders to provide updates and technical support.
  • Manage inventory and maintain accurate service records.
  • Ensure timely follow-up and traceability of repairs using service management systems.
  • Maintain compliance with quality standards, documented processes, and ISO 9001 requirements.
  • Follow all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) policies, procedures, and training requirements.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement, quality initiatives, safety programs, and workplace inspections.
  • Required Qualifications
  • Degree, HNC, or equivalent qualification in Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Strong technical expertise in electronics, mechanical systems, and IT.
  • Previous team leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with IT systems and applications.
  • Fluent English language skills.
