Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on X-Ray and CT systems within your assigned territory. There may be other imaging modalities that we will also require you to adapt to in due course and according to business needs.
- Troubleshoot complex, multi-symptom issues at the system level.
- Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals to ensure equipment uptime and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with fellow engineers, service centre teams, and account managers to deliver exceptional service.
- Manage tools, parts, and travel logistics.
- Complete all administrative tasks accurately and on time.
- Expect 35–40% travel within the region and beyond as business needs demand.
What You’ll Bring
- HNC or equivalent qualification in engineering or a relevant technical field.
- Field service experience, ideally with medical imaging systems but full training will be provided for candidates with the right attitude.
- Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the UK at the time of application.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
- Experience connecting to systems remotely using a secure connectivity platform.
- Competence with software loading, virtual machines, and general IT troubleshooting.
- Valid UK driving license.
- Fluent in English.
Desirable Skills
- Broader experience with other medical imaging modalities.
- Knowledge of DICOM and IT network troubleshooting.
- Experience working with a Customer Relationship Management system.
- Project management experience.
