Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of CT systems across the Midlands, with flexibility to support wider UK requirements.
- Diagnose and resolve complex system-level faults across multi-technology platforms.
- Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals to ensure equipment uptime and customer satisfaction.
- Provide remote diagnostics and support from a home office, dialling into systems to troubleshoot and resolve issues where possible.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, service centres, and commercial functions to deliver exceptional service.
- Manage tools, spare parts, and travel logistics efficiently.
- Complete all required documentation accurately and within deadlines.
- Travel approximately 35β40% of the time, with occasional overnight stays.
- Attend international training courses as required.
- Be flexible to support overtime, short-notice callouts, and weekend shifts when needed.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- HNC (or equivalent) in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Field service experience (medical imaging experience advantageous but not essential β full training provided).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently.
- Experience with remote connectivity tools and diagnostics.
- Good IT skills, including familiarity with software installation, virtual machines, and troubleshooting.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Fluent in English.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with additional medical imaging modalities.
- Knowledge of DICOM and IT/network troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with CRM systems.
- Project management experience.
