Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional category strategies aligned with global sourcing objectives.
- Coordinate with regional peers/stakeholders to ensure global strategies meet regional business requirements.
- Engage & Support cross-functional collaboration with logistics, warehousing, and packaging teams.
- Manage supplier relationships, lead the RFx process, analyze supplier quotes, and conduct detailed assessments of cost breakdowns, including price, quality, and delivery.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to guide sourcing decisions.
- Drive cost savings, risk mitigation, and sustainability initiatives.
- Lead or support supplier transitions, audits, and performance evaluations.
- Monitor and report on category performance metrics and implement improvements.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, quality systems, and legal requirements.
- Support global and regional sourcing initiatives and projects.
Required Qualifications
This role requires advanced experience in the Sourcing & Sourcing Management. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
