Responsibilities

  • Operation of Xray equipment in the detection of Surface & sub-surface defects in engine components.
  • Inspect engine components I.A.W specifications using NDT techniques.
  • Complete documentation I.A.W. company procedures.
  • Maintain Certification in accordance with EN4179 and company requirements.
  • Meet Production goals.
  • Prepare NDT Written Instructions to be utilised within the Xray department.
  • Prepare detailed reports of inspection results.
  • Work as part of a team.

Essential Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Previous NDT Level II certification/experience in the following NDT discipline is mandatory Radiography (RT).
  • Attendance at formal study courses is to gain a Level 2 NDT qualification in the following NDT detection method:
  • Radiography (RT)

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Previous EN4179 Level II NDT certification/experience within the aviation industry in the following RT.
  • Previous additional experience in PT, ECI, MT & UT would be beneficial.
