Responsibilities
- Operation of Xray equipment in the detection of Surface & sub-surface defects in engine components.
- Inspect engine components I.A.W specifications using NDT techniques.
- Complete documentation I.A.W. company procedures.
- Maintain Certification in accordance with EN4179 and company requirements.
- Meet Production goals.
- Prepare NDT Written Instructions to be utilised within the Xray department.
- Prepare detailed reports of inspection results.
- Work as part of a team.
Essential Qualifications / Requirements:
- Previous NDT Level II certification/experience in the following NDT discipline is mandatory Radiography (RT).
- Attendance at formal study courses is to gain a Level 2 NDT qualification in the following NDT detection method:
- Radiography (RT)
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Previous EN4179 Level II NDT certification/experience within the aviation industry in the following RT.
- Previous additional experience in PT, ECI, MT & UT would be beneficial.
