Job Description Summary
To work in the Inspection department reporting to the Inspection Leader. As a Quality Inspector your role will include the inspection of supply chain products, release of OEM products under CAA regulations, Inspection and Release of Maintenance, Repaired & Overhauled products, ensuring both conformity and compliance. You will be an integral part of the PMS promoting the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Essential Responsibilities:
The role will encompass activities associated with the Inspection function in an aerospace environment. The key aspects of the role are as follows:
- Support the Inspection Leader achieve business goals.
- Promote company ethos.
- CAA Part 21 & P145 release of Propellers Kits and Control Units under CAA and other regulations.
- Inspection of components received from our supplier\’s ensuring conformity and compliance.
- Final view of manufactured products.
- Control of non-conforming products
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must be able to understand, read and write English.
- Have experience of working with Quality Systems and a sound knowledge of ISO, AS & Inspection sampling plans.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, processes and documented procedures.
- Demonstrate a wide set of inspection skills, experience and knowledge.
- Analytical and methodical approach to complex situations and technical issues.
- Ability to use structured problem-solving techniques.
- Demonstrate use of a wide variety of gauges and measuring equipment to include Hardness Testing, Surface Analyser, Profile Projector, etc.
- IT literate – use of ERP system and using MS office tools.

- Demonstrate personal drive and motivation to identify and implement process improvements.
- Neat handwriting – This is a requirement for CAA Part 21 & P145 release.
- Be able to work quickly and accurately.
- Encourage an environment of continuous improvement.
- Experience with Oracle, TipQA and Syteline applications.
- Effective communication skills and ability to interact at all levels.
- The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate role flexibility and work within a team environment.
- Should be able to work under their own initiative whilst still supporting the team structure.
- CMM operating and programming experience.
