OWS London is moving to a larger facility to support the growing demand of GE/CFM engine maintenance. The On Wing Support Technician will provide quick-turn aircraft engine maintenance, repair and field services, primarily based within a small dynamic team in the London Heathrow area.

In this role, you will troubleshoot, perform field repairs, and conduct line maintenance, all while building positive relationships with our customers through outstanding customer awareness and service. Take ownership of and follow through on the full scope of work tasks and projects. Focus on the needs of customers, always delivering with precision and care. Build strong customer relationships through effective communication and understanding of customer perspectives. Act with humility and lead with transparency at all times.

Qualifications / Requirements:
  • Completed a formal engineering apprenticeship or relevant industry experience within a technically complex industry
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively interpret detailed documented work instructions
  • Team player with flexible approach and a positive attitude
Eligibility Requirements:
  • Ability and willingness to travel on short notice to domestic and international locations to perform maintenance of GE/CFM commercial engines.
Desired Skills / Experience:
  • Approach work with a can-do attitude and a sense of commitment to both team and customer objectives
  • Lean and problem solving experience
  • Strong communication skills and problem solving ability are a must
  • Possess a desire to learn and grow with advances in technology
  • LEAP, CFM56, GENX, GE90, GP7200, CF6 and CF34 experience
  • Line maintenance, module removal & installation, LRU/EBU removals and installations
  • Demonstrated quality, compliance and customer satisfaction skills

  • LHR - Shift Work - Two Weeks of Days (06:30am to 14:30pm) One Week of Afternoons (14:30pm to 22:30pm).
