In this role, you will be responsible for executing multiple HR processes and supporting the HR team across all HR service categories, including onboarding, offboarding, Workday data maintenance, reporting, metrics, and more. Develop an in-depth, end-to-end knowledge of company HR operations systems and processes. This role emphasizes data integrity and analysis to support key HR decisions while providing coverage and support as needed. Identify and resolve operational issues and support process improvements. Promote 'Best in Class' service while developing effective relationships and working cross-functionally with internal teams and suppliers.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Respond to employee and HR service ticket requests, manage data entry and processing of transactions into HR systems, and handle escalations and questions.
- Lead Service Delivery teams and manage operations such as reporting, employee data management, employee lifecycle management, HR systems help desk, business relations, and escalations, specifically for Shared Service teams.
- Broaden knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures within your discipline to execute functional policies and strategies; continue developing functional knowledge and skills.
- Understand key business drivers and use this understanding to accomplish work effectively.
- Recognize how your team's work integrates with other teams and contributes to the overall area.
- Operate with some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework.
- Resolve issues requiring good knowledge and judgment within established procedures.
- Consult senior team members for issues outside of defined policies or parameters.
- Develop strong interpersonal skills to build customer relationships and serve as the interface between the customer and GE.
- Explain technical information clearly to others.
Required Qualifications
- For roles outside the USA: Basic experience in Human Resources and HR Operations Service Delivery. Knowledge level comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma with relevant experience.
- For roles in the USA: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in relevant Job Family Groups or Functions.
