Roles and Responsibilities:
  • This role is for skilled operators working within a variety of roles focused on the manufacturing and assembly of aircraft parts for civil programmes.
  • The role will include a range of tasks and the successful applicant should demonstrate flexibility and work effectively as part of a larger multi-disciplined team
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Read and follow manufacturing plans
  • Ensure quality and health & safety adherence
  • Follow daily manufacturing metrics
  • Participate in lean activities and other initiatives
  • Support manufacturing delivery needs
  • Work in teams to achieve delivery targets
  • Complete manufacturing paperwork and job cards
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • General electronics and mechanical assembly work
  • Ability to recognise and identify components
  • Ability to understand technical drawings and instructions
  • Good concentration and attention to detail
  • Able to produce work of high quality
  • Dextrous and able to work on small products
  • A flexible and co-operative approach
