Job Description Summary
The Blade operator will be responsible for supporting and continuing to drive improvements in the manufacture, quality and output of Composite Propeller Blades for both new make & repair & overhaul.

Job Description

The role involves the execution of manual processes either on a permanent shift or rotating shift pattern in a production environment.


Essential Responsibilities:-

  • Bonding.
  • Polyurethane coat spraying, Painting and Finishing.
  • Identifying and Implementing process improvements.
  • Identify and hold responsibility for Quality & Environment, Health & Safety issues.
  • Repairing.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate their ability to work as an effective team player, taking ownership and accountability for quality and EHS standards.
  • Adopt a flexible approach to gaining new skills and working across cells within the Dowty Brockworth site.
  • Demonstrate personal drive and motivation to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Demonstrate experience of working in a flow line production environment and be familiar with materials processing.
  • Demonstrate good manual dexterity.
