Roles and Responsibilities
In the 12-month Electrical & Electronic Engineering Placement, you'll gain invaluable skills and experience within the Test System Department or Electronic Hardware Department. The Test System Department designs and develops state-of-the-art custom test hardware and software, test harnesses and documentation for all up-and-coming avionics products being designed and built within our facility. Working closely with third-party manufacturing houses to produce TE to our requirements. We also design and manufacture a variety of smaller test boxes, breakout boxes and test cables to support NPI development. Within the Electronic Hardware Department, you’ll make a difference by applying your digital and analogue knowledge to active projects and gain invaluable skills and experience in various design and development activities related to power distribution and control products. You will be guided by structured goals and objectives and will have responsibility to deliver on inspiring projects supported by your People Leader and team around you.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Currently studying an Electrical/Electronic Engineering related Bachelor’s or integrated Master’s degree
- On course to achieve 2:1 degree or above
- To be in your penultimate year of study and returning to education post placement
