We are looking for an experienced refrigeration engineer to work within our busy and dynamic facilities and management team at our 64-acre Cheltenham campus.
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day maintenance and management of environmental stress screening chambers, fault finding, and planning maintenance activity.
- Program chambers to support product testing.
- Work on equipment such as laser wire markers and vibration systems; training will be provided.
- Collaborate with other team members on on-site emergency events including fire and flood; training to perform fire alarm testing and run diesel sprinkler pumps will be provided.
Must Have Qualifications/Requirements
- Safety conscious
- F gas qualified category 1 qualification from an accredited body such as C&G, BESA, LCL or CITB (course code 603/1917/3 / 2079-11 or equivalent)
- Electrical competency for refrigeration systems
- Ability to work independently whilst balancing multiple priorities
- Good team player who can operate in a multi-discipline environment
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Computer literacy
- Desire for personal continuous improvement
Desired Characteristics
- Experience on Thermotron and Sharetree environmental stress chambers
- Experience in vibration systems, pneumatics, hydraulics and water systems
- Desire to gain training on other production equipment and expand skillset
