Roles and Responsibilities
- Produce engine components through numerous special process functions controlled by the OEM (Overhaul Engine Manual) & SPM (Standard Practices Manual)
- Deliver a Quality Product on time to internal and external customers
- Ensure production flow is maintained at all times
- Work in accordance with the company's quality procedure: European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part-145 Requirements
- Follow strict EHS guidelines in all aspects of shop floor safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure effective processes are used in a timely manner which supports their operations
- Willingness to operate collaboratively with all departments in a shop floor teaming environment
Qualifications / Requirements
- Knowledge of Chemical Cleaning Processes and abrasive Blast Process techniques
- Knowledge of Paint Spraying and Preparation
- Effective communication skills
- Good team player with flexible approach and effective interpersonal skills
- A responsible/self-motivated person, willing to make decisions
- Computer literacy skills, ideally with experience of windows based packages
Desired Characteristics
- Previous experience in Aircraft Engine industry
- Knowledge of Six Sigma or equivalent techniques
- Experience in Large Scale Production Environment
- Flexibility for potential night shift
Security Clearance
Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained for this role. Please note that in the event that BPSS clearance cannot be obtained, you may not be eligible for the role and/or any offer of employment may be withdrawn on grounds of national security.
