The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Ensuring the structural integrity and quality of the product and training a team in a range of NDT techniques including, * Establish and approve NDT methods and techniques and supporting procedures in line with company and regulatory requirements.

  • Manage qualification and ongoing approval of a team of NDT technicians and contractors, develop training plans and keep records for all NDT levels and determine techniques to be applied across the product range.

  • Manage relationship with Company nominated Level 3, approved training partner and service providers.

  • Work closely with design and development teams supporting NPI programs.

  • Directly support daily operations offering guidance on detected defects and work closely with MRB engineers to determine corrective actions.

Ideal candidate will have;

  • Degree educated in a relevant Engineering discipline

  • or Recognised apprenticeship plus significant relevant experience

  • At least Level 2 qualification in a number of NDT techniques.

  • If not already qualified candidates will be expected to complete Level 3 qualifications in line with NDT standards., * Understanding of Composite manufacturing Process

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to develop and document processes and procedures

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems using structured problem solving techniques

  • Contribute to wider quality function

  • Understanding of Part 21G and Part 145 regulations

  • Experience of working in an AS9100 approved business
