Join our team in Prestwick as an HR Manager and become a trusted partner to our People Leaders and employees, providing expert guidance, coaching, and support on HR fundamentals and employee‑related matters. In this role you will drive HR excellence, execute critical HR initiatives, and develop a positive, compliant, and engaging workplace culture.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated guidance and coaching to leaders and employees with specific focus on employee and union relations, employee engagement, performance management, career development, talent assessment, acquisition and retention, and workplace investigations.
- Serve as a first point of contact for people leaders on fundamental HR topics, escalating concerns as necessary with HR specialists in the Centres of Excellence and navigating employees and managers to the appropriate HR services.
- Partner with HR Business Partners and Centre of Excellence professionals to execute business‑specific HR strategies.
- Build positive relationships with Trade Union leadership, collaborating to solve problems and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Provide advice and counsel to leaders to ensure consistent application of policies, procedures, and practices, promoting an ethical and compliant work environment.
- Ensure employee relations issues are identified, reported, investigated, and resolved.
- Lead key HR processes, including compensation planning and compliance.
- Co‑mentor and guide other HR team members, supporting their growth and development.
- Drive continuous improvement by engaging with lean methodologies to enhance HR processes and practices.
- Lead site‑wide HR projects, collaborating across multiple client groups to deliver impactful results.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Degree from an accredited university or equivalent proven experience.
