As an operator in an aerospace environment, you will be responsible for disassembly, cleaning & repairing of customer returned units. During this process you will also support testing, warranty and engineering requirements.

Responsibilities include:

  • Strip down of propeller components and apply minor salvages.
  • Work to drawings, manuals, specifications and business procedures.
  • Ensure traceability is maintained throughout the process.
  • Highlight and record defects.
  • Work to H&S regulations and understand the risks within the environment.
  • Support engineering / quality investigations and project work as and when required.
  • Support cost-out/lean initiatives, EHS/ergonomic activities, housekeeping inspections and continuous improvement projects.
  • Book in parts and be trained to use various lifting devices.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • The ability to work on mechanical and hydraulic components.
  • The ability to utilise detailed manuals, drawings and other documentation to complete the task.
  • High level attention to detail.
  • High quality and accurate work output.
  • Good manual dexterity.
