The predicted salary is between 26000 - 39000 £ per year.
Production inspection of composite propeller blades using a range of ultrasonic test equipment on a shift pattern basis. Approx. 800 hours of internal training within the production environment will be given with a requirement to attend some external training.
Desired Characteristics:
- Must be reliable and able to work shifts – including nights & weekend overtime if required.
- Good mathematical skills and capable of taking routine externally adjudicated examinations.
- Good communication skills in order to clearly convey technical information related to work operations and to disseminate applicable information to appropriate Engineering/Management staff as required.
- Highly motivated self-starter with a flexible approach, willing to support other teams if and when required.
- Keen to be involved in NPI activities and help support with new opportunities.
- Enjoys working as part of a team, taking accountability for team quality, process, production and EHS requirements.
- Prepared to actively engage in At Point Problem Solving sessions.
- Able to concentrate and focus for sustained periods of time and perform repetitive work operations as required.
- Strong technical skills.
- Ability to demonstrate good coordination and dexterity when using measuring instruments, hand tools and related testing equipment simultaneously.
- The post holder must acquire the confidence to work independently with minimum supervision to make important decisions when performing investigative tasks.
