At Dowty (a GE Aerospace company) we have an exciting 18 month fixed term contract to join our onsite cutting edge manufacturing site in Brockworth, Gloucester. We are a world-leading manufacturer of integrated propeller systems. Our products are used in applications that range from regional and military aircraft to marine hovercrafts, rolled out on operational platforms around the world.
As the DT Project Manager you will be instrumental in:
- Collaborating with the stakeholders to help drive clear business cases for digital capabilities whilst demonstrating alignment to the strategy and ROI.
- Planning multiple cross functional projects to align the necessary resources to ensure it commences with buy-in and drive and is set up for success.
- Actively communicating to stakeholders and leadership the status of projects, risks, issues and any interdependencies to ensure collaboration.
- Facilitating the conversations which help drive business requests into technical requirements and pulling in the relevant shared service teams to support.
- Executing plans with other business dependencies in mind, ensuring cross functional partnering; the timing of changes can be fundamental.
Required Qualifications:
- Mid level professional experience within technical IT / Digital Technology project management.
- PM qualification, PMP or equivalent.
- Agile project management.
Required Experience:
- Manufacturing or Engineering industry experience.
- Familiar with MS Platform.
- Experience working with third party vendors.
- Experience collaborating with shared service teams.
- Smartsheet experience would be advantageous.
