An exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team responsible for all order management and customer support activities of the repair and overhaul business at Dowty Propellers. As a Customer Order and Fulfilment Coordinator, you will primarily be responsible for supporting well-established key customer accounts, ensuring that the customers receive the best representation and prioritization across all business forums. This role brings additional daily responsibilities related to creating and managing repair orders (Order matching, providing repair estimates to the customers etc.) restricted to the entire ROW (Rest of the World) Value Stream.

A varied job, with a new challenge every day, you will be able to advocate for your customer, confidently and proficiently handle day-to-day queries, understand the contractual terms relating to your key customer and ensure the business is executing these accordingly. You will provide weekly status reports on all customer orders through working closely with our Operations and Planning team whilst engaging with multiple departments to solve complex customer problems.

You will be given ownership of deliverables relating to both department processes and your own customer accounts and will be expected to work proactively to meet or exceed these targets. The R&O Customer Operations department is regulated through a Quality system and follows key defined processes. To successfully execute these processes, you will require to be computer literate, able to learn and apply knowledge across multiple situations & ideally have previous experience of ERP system.

You will be a self-motivated team player and able to work with minimal supervision. You will have a curious mind, looking to learn and grow. You will be supported by the team with the appropriate training and development opportunities. The role requires the candidate to be part of the AOG on call team, offering support to the worldwide De Havilland of Canada Bombardier Dash 8 civil aircraft fleet.

  • Order management

  • Contract knowledge and ability to execute against contractual terms
  • Responsible for team key deliverables – ability to recognise negative trends and initiate immediate remedial actions
  • Function as liaison between internal organizations and customers for assigned contracts
  • Able to negotiate and advocate on behalf of customers – being the Voice of Customer (VOC)
  • Follow existing procedures, challenge where appropriate to introduce Continuous improvements to business processes
  • Work with team to deliver/lead continuous improvement projects within the scope of the departments’ responsibility.
Qualifications / Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge or experience
  • Commercial or customer-facing experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
