We have an opportunity for a Blade Operator at our Dowty Propellers Brockworth site for an 18 month fixed term contract. The role involves the execution of manual processes either on a possible rotating shift pattern in a production environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Blade composite processes to include but not limited to (Composite layup, Preform & Foam, Blade build, resin injection and deflash)
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Identify and hold responsibility for Quality & Environment, Health & Safety issues.
  • Repairing.
  • Ability to work night shift.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate their ability to work as an effective team player, taking ownership accountability for quality and EHS standards.
  • Adopt a flexible approach to gaining new skills and working across cells within the Dowty Brockworth site.
  • Demonstrate personal drive and motivation to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Demonstrate experience of working in a flow line production environment and be familiar with materials processing.
  • Demonstrate good manual dexterity.
