In this role, you will be part of the Customer Program Engineering team and wider Field Service Team, providing dedicated in-region support for our civil customers across Africa. You will act as a key technical and account focal, delivering field training and repairs, and supporting the African customer base on-site and remotely. You will be expected to manage changing customer demands, set clear priorities, and engage directly with customers to maintain safe, reliable operations. As a key contributor to our team performance, you will ensure the voice of the customer is clearly represented back into the business, driving meaningful actions and improvements.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide field repairs & technical support for in-region customers
- Provide in-region customer training
- Support our airframe partners’ regional conferences
- Utilize best practices to challenge existing processes and drive improvement
- Facilitate new contractual negotiations and roll out
- Deliver quarterly updates for regional customers to key stakeholders
- Support ROW FSR activity when required
Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University or College, or High School Diploma with compensating work experience in a similar role
- Relevant experience in a regulated aerospace environment performing aircraft maintenance & customer training
- Proven Customer Facing and/or Commercial Experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage performance using KPIs, meet deadlines, set priorities, work and implement recovery action when required
- A self-starter able to manage your own work
- Ability to apply clear thinking to solve problems and work cross-functionally
- Confident in presenting and delivering technical data through training
