Our Finance Graduate Apprenticeship follows a 5 year programme (in partnership with Glasgow Caledonian University) with flexible work based learning to develop academic, practical and professional skills to achieve a Masters in accountancy and Qualified ACCA., As a Finance Graduate Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of finance and accounting. You will work closely with our finance team, supporting day-to-day operations and contributing to key projects. This apprenticeship is an excellent opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, develop your financial acumen, and gain valuable industry insights.

You will have a keen sense of achievement and take pride in the work you undertake and produce. Be highly self-motivated, be able to work in a small team and independently.

You will:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

  • Support the finance team in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Participate in month-end and year-end closing procedures.

  • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and support cross-functional projects.

  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  • 5 B’s at higher for school leavers – including maths or accountancy

  • OR an A at HNC level in an accountancy/ finance related subject.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
