Join Our Team as a Military Power Facilitator in Cheltenham. We are hiring for a Manufacturing Leader to join our Military Power team as a Military Power Facilitator in Cheltenham. In this role, you will lead a team of approximately 25 individuals, overseeing daily operations to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line.
Your leadership will have a direct impact on the quality of our products and the overall success of your team. You will be responsible for managing standard operational and technical tasks, with the flexibility to rearrange tasks as necessary to adapt to changing work situations. Your ability to remain adaptable, efficient, and motivate your team will be essential in maintaining the high standards we uphold.
Our Cheltenham facility employs approx 1800 people and manufactures power distribution and avionics equipment for global military and civil aerospace customers.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead a team of around 25 individuals on the production line, providing day-to-day direction, coaching, and support.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure reliability, consistency, and on-time delivery.
- Work with military customers and internal teams to understand what they need from our power systems.
- Help plan and run meetings, workshops, and reviews focused on power system performance and readiness.
- Take technical input from engineers and turn it into clear, practical information others can use.
- Support the creation and maintenance of documents, presentations, and standard processes.
- Track actions, issues, and risks, and help keep the team aligned and on schedule.
- Support system tests, demos, and evaluations, as needed.
- Help prepare and deliver briefings and training to internal teams, operators, and customers.
- Look for ways to improve how we work, with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC).
- Make sure work follows all security, export control, and regulatory requirements.
- Capture lessons learned and share best practices across the team.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in Manufacturing and Production.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Leadership experience.

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
- Understanding of Lean process methodology and principles.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
