This role is responsible for coordinating part availability across planning, operations, stores, and support teams to ensure repair work progresses on schedule and delivery commitments are protected. The position focuses on identifying and resolving shortages, tracking critical and aged WIP, expediting part movement through the repair value stream, and escalating constraints when needed. Success in the role means driving timely closure of part issues, improving flow through the shop, and reducing transactional workload for front line leaders so they can focus on daily management, process stability, WIP reduction, and quality improvement.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily with planning, operations, stores, and support functions to identify part availability risks, resolve constraints, and escalate priorities where needed.
- Maintain clear visibility of shortages, aged WIP, and critical part status, helping the team focus on the highest-impact actions to protect delivery.
- Support sequencing and execution of repair work by aligning part availability with shop priorities and planned production schedules.
- Proactively track and expedite part movement across the repair value stream to prevent shortages, reduce delays, and support on-time progression of shop orders.
- Drive fast follow-up on missing, delayed, or blocked parts, including physical movement, system follow-through, and communication with stakeholders until closure.
- Reduce the transactional burden on front line leaders so they can focus on daily management, WIP reduction, process stability, and quality improvement.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Experience of Microsoft Office.
- Strong organisation and communication skills.
- Ability to work with multiple teams on site at all levels.
