Job Description Summary
Roles and Responsibilities:
- To produce engine components through numerous special process functions controlled by the OEM (Overhaul Engine Manual) & SPM (Standard Practices Manual).
- To deliver a quality product on time to internal and external customers.
- To ensure production flow is maintained at all times.
- To work in accordance with the company's quality procedure: European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part-145 Requirements.
- To follow strict EHS guidelines in all aspects of shop floor safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- To liaise with internal departments to ensure effective processes are used in a timely manner which supports their operations.
- Willingness to operate collaboratively with all departments in a shop floor teaming environment.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Effective communication skills.
- Good team player with a flexible approach and effective interpersonal skills.
- A responsible/self-motivated person, willing to make decisions.
- Computer literacy skills, ideally with experience of Windows-based packages.
Desired Characteristics:
- Previous experience in the Aircraft Engine industry, Cleaning Bay environment would be advantageous.
- Experience in Large Scale Production Environment.
- Flexibility for potential night shift cover.
- Knowledge of Chemical Cleaning Processes and abrasive Blast Process techniques.
