Self-employed Visiting Music Teacher - Singing required from September 2026 for one day per week.

Teaching rate: £24.50 per 30-minute lesson.

A space has become available for a Visiting Music Teacher (Singing) to use the facilities at Blackheath High School. Visiting Music Teachers are self-employed and the contract for the provision of lessons is between parents and the VMT. The VMT Agreement is drawn up by the GDST and arrangements for instrumental lessons are managed by the Director of Music, who acts as an agent in making the contractual arrangement with parents.

There is currently one day of teaching available for 14 pupils, but this is subject to change in demand. The post would suit a candidate with experience in nurturing young female voices in classical repertoire.
