This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher of Mathematics with excellent leadership skills to play a pivotal role in a well-resourced and flourishing Maths Faculty. As the Head of Maths Faculty, you will have overall responsibility for the professional leadership and management of Maths. Leading by example, you will ensure high standards of leadership and management are realised and that high standards of teaching and learning are delivered.

If you have significant successful experience in Mathematics as a Subject Leader, Second in Department or Head of Department and have the ambition to make a significant impact on the success of the school and to enhance the girls' education, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Maths is an important and flourishing subject at Blackheath High with an impressive record of success at all levels and we are proud of the number of girls who go on to study Mathematics and related disciplines at university. Pupils also enjoy taking part in Mathematics related clubs and competitions.
