We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Head of Careers to lead the delivery of our careers education, information, advice and guidance programme for pupils from Year 7 through to Year 13. The Head of Careers will also help to organise an age-appropriate careers programme in the Prep School. Additionally, this role will require the Head of Careers to share information with pupils by leading regular assemblies and careers information sessions, both of which will involve organising guest speakers.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring our school is compliant with the Gatsby Benchmarks, empowering girls to make informed choices about their future careers and higher education pathways. You will support the Year 9 and Year 11 options process and will oversee the Year 10 and Year 11 work experience programmes. You will also lead the UCAS application process. This role is vital in an environment where we are ambitious for every student and focus on developing confident, resilient and aspirational young women.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, proactive, and possess excellent communication and organisational skills. You will have experience in advising young people on career options, together with a sound understanding of current developments in careers education, labour market trends, and university admissions.

This is a term-time only role. The actual salary paid will therefore be £25,325 - £33,788.
