Sutton High School is seeking an enthusiastic Care Assistant to support our exceptional after‐school care provision, Explorers, for Prep School pupils aged 3 to 11. The position is part‐time, term time only, permanent, with an annual salary of £7,530 (equivalent to £28,587 FTE).
Responsibilities
- Deliver high‐quality after‐school care at the end of the school day.
- Supervise children and ensure a safe, welcoming environment.
- Prepare and facilitate engaging activities for pupils.
- Ensure pupils are happy, well‐cared for, and safe at all times.
Hours: 12.5 hours per week across five days, from 3pm to 5:30pm.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in childcare.
- Willingness to undergo child protection screening, including DBS check and checks with past employers.
