Overview
South Hampstead High School is looking for a reliable and proactive Site Assistant to join our friendly Premises Team. From setting up rooms and supporting events to basic repairs, site checks, security and general maintenance, you’ll help keep our school safe, welcoming and running smoothly. A significant part of the role involves supporting the school’s weekend lettings and events programme.
Responsibilities
- Set up rooms and prepare spaces for events.
- Support the weekend lettings and events programme.
- Carry out basic repairs, site checks, security duties and general maintenance.
- Assist with premises cleaning and tidying.
- Provide overall support to the Premises Team.
Qualifications
- Experience in caretaking, facilities, maintenance, porterage, property services or a similar hands‑on role.
- Good practical skills and a can‑do attitude.
- Ability to work independently and flexibly, including weekends.
- School experience is not essential.
