Overview
Sheffield Girls’, part of the Girls' Day School Trust (GDST), is recruiting an English teacher for a fixed-term, part-time role (0.55 FTE). The contract covers a maternity cover period from 1st September 2026 until the end of the half‑term, for a duration of 2 months.
Responsibilities
- Teach Key Stage 3 English to motivated students.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that expand students' knowledge beyond the curriculum.
- Support students' development in reading, writing, speaking and listening skills.
- Work closely with subject and wider teaching teams.
Qualifications
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) and a Level 3 teaching qualification.
- Suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECT) or NQT graduates.
- Experience teaching Key Stage 3 is preferable.
