We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified School Counsellor to join our outstanding pastoral team at Sheffield Girls' as maternity cover for the current postholder.
Responsibilities:
- Provide counseling support to pupils, fostering self-expression and problem-solving.
- Collaborate with Heads of Year to address student issues.
- Operate autonomously while coordinating with the pastoral team.
- Work part time, approximately 70% of a full-time position, during term time only.
Requirements:
- Qualified as a school counsellor or equivalent.
- Empathetic, motivated, capable of working autonomously.
