The Role

Due to increased demand, Oxford High School is seeking casual Minibus Drivers to provide a safe, professional and courteous transport service across all three sites. Drivers will interact with children daily, maintain a positive atmosphere on the bus, and conduct routine safety checks. Report to Finance Manager and work as part of a team of Minibus Drivers.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the school minibuses on scheduled routes and school trips.
  • Ensure punctuality and safety of all passengers.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any faults.
  • Maintain a friendly, calm environment for students, parents and colleagues.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Experience driving passenger vehicles, minibuses and holding D1 provision.
  • Excellent time‑management and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interact confidently with young people, parents and staff.
  • First‑aid training and Midas training desirable (training will be provided).
