What you’ll be doing
You will work 10 hours per week, term time only, driving the school’s minibuses and MPVs to ensure safe transport for students.
Shift patterns
Approximate driving times: 06:45 – 08:30 and 15:15 – 17:25, plus daily pre‑start safety inspection, fueling and washing of the bus.
Skills and experience you’ll bring to the role
- A valid Cat D1 classification on your driving licence with an acceptable driving record
- Prepared to obtain the MIDAS qualification
- Ability to react calmly in emergency situations
- Over 21 years of age
- Prepared to obtain a suitable First Aid qualification
- Maintenance of good customer relations with parents and the school, contributing to a positive atmosphere on the bus
- Willingness to undergo child protection screening, including online searches, checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service
